Fewer Injuries. Less Downtime. A Team Your Employees Will Trust.

TruFit Ergonomics partners with government agencies, school districts, and employers to identify the true root causes of workplace discomfort. We make meaningful changes – and we only recommend new equipment when it’s genuinely needed.

Your employees work hard. Does their workspace set them up for success?

The physical stress and strain of daily work doesn’t stay at the desk. It shows up in missed deadlines, increased sick days, and employees who quietly disengage. The good news? Most of it is preventable — with the right assessment and the right team

Increase Productivity

More efficient workspaces get the job done — and keep your team engaged.

Improve Morale

Employees who feel supported show up better — for themselves and for your organization.

Save Money

Fewer sick days and less employee turnover are always better for business.

The Team Behind TruFit

Every TruFit assessment is conducted by a licensed physical therapist with specialized ergonomics training – not a general consultant. That clinical background is what makes the difference.

Dr. Matt Stump | PT, ScD, FAAOMPT, CSCS, CEAS, AOEAS, SCS

Founder – Serving California and South Carolina

Dr. Stump founded TruFit Ergonomics after years as an orthopedic physical therapist, where he saw firsthand how preventable most workplace injuries truly are. A board-certified clinical specialist and Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists, Matt brings a depth of clinical expertise that goes well beyond standard ergonomic consulting. He leads TruFit’s operations across both California and South Carolina.

Dr. Collin McDonell | PT, DPT, AOEAS

California Ergonomic Assessment Specialist

Dr. McDonell is a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy and Advanced Office Ergonomic Assessment Specialist serving TruFit’s California clients. His clinical background ensures every assessment goes beyond surface-level adjustments to address the true root causes of workplace discomfort.

Erin Stump| PT, MPT, CEAS I

South Carolina Ergonomic Assessment Specialist

Erin is a licensed physical therapist and Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist serving TruFit’s growing Southeast client base. Her clinical training ensures employees receive assessments grounded in movement science — not just furniture recommendations.

We believe prevention is everything.

Ever had a crick in your neck after a long day at the computer? How about pain in your elbow that never seems to go away. Or a wrist that starts throbbing the minute your fingers hit the keyboard?

All of these things are indications that something is affecting the nerves, muscles, tendons, and joints that make up your musculoskeletal system.

Believe it or not, the simple repetitive motions you perform day in and day out at work can cause real wear and tear on your body over time. I’ve seen it firsthand, across multiple industries and disciplines, in the work I’ve done with small businesses, government agencies, and schools.

But it doesn’t have to be that way.

Luckily, easy changes like adjusting the height of your chair or the alignment of your posture or rearranging your desk to keep essential items at arm’s length can completely eliminate the stress and strain that can get in the way of your job performance–and your good health.
